Contest Type

Dreamscapes by Ten Moir Gallery turns dreams, fantasy, and imagined worlds into the focus of an international online art challenge. Closing on September 30, 2026, the call accepts photography alongside painting, sculpture, mixed media, and digital art. The leading distinction is a $150 Best in Show award, accompanied by an artist interview, a mini spotlight feature, homepage placement, and a complimentary entry to the Blue Sky Artist Award.

The first upload remains free until the final deadline, making the call accessible to photographers searching for free photography competitions with an optional paid route for submitting additional images. Entries may explore surreal settings, symbolic scenes, fantasy figures, fictional environments, or other visual interpretations of dreamlike experience.

Selected artists will appear in a curated online collection, while finalists and runners-up may receive certificates, permanent listings, editorial spotlights, website features, and social-media promotion. Results are scheduled to be sent by email on October 18, 2026. Applications are completed online using JPG or PNG files under 3MB and measuring at least 2,000 pixels on the longest side. For photographers comparing online photo competitions, Dreamscapes offers a theme-led opportunity that places camera-based work within a broader international visual-art context.

Prizes

The awards combine a cash prize with online publication, artist features, promotional support, and credentials that selected participants can use across their portfolios and professional profiles.

  • Best in Show: The overall winner receives $150, an artist interview, a feature in The Moir Mini Spotlight, homepage placement, and one complimentary entry to the Blue Sky Artist Award. The monetary award also connects the competition with Deartline listings for photography contests with cash prizes.
  • Runners-up in Traditional and Photography: Each runner-up receives a website feature, a dedicated social-media post, an Art Journal Mini Spotlight, and a complimentary Blue Sky Artist Award entry.
  • Finalists: Approximately 15 to 20 artists will receive a permanent listing, a digital certificate, and social-media highlights.
  • Selected artists: Works chosen for the curated collection will be displayed with the artist’s name, artwork title, and a link supplied by the artist.
  • Additional recognition: Selected entries may be promoted through Ten Moir Gallery channels and partner listings. Artists may also receive digital badges and certificates suitable for websites, portfolios, and social profiles.

Categories or Themes

Dreamscapes by Ten Moir Gallery does not use separate categories. Every submission is considered under the same central theme, which covers dreamlike imagery, mystical environments, surreal narratives, imaginary creatures, and fantasy-inspired worlds.

Photographers may approach the brief through staged scenes, symbolic compositions, altered landscapes, constructed environments, or digital image-making. This makes the call particularly relevant to conceptual photography contests, fine art photography competitions, and selected forms of photomanipulation. Digital alteration is suitable for the theme but is not stated as a requirement.

Dates and Entry Fees

The Dreamscapes by Ten Moir Gallery runs from July through September, with the final selection scheduled to be communicated in October.

The first artwork upload is free until the September 30 deadline. Entrants who wish to submit more than one image can select one of the paid packages below.

  • First image: Free
  • Two images: $18
  • Three images: $25
  • Four images: $36
  • Five images: $45
  • Six to ten images: $55

Because one image can be entered without payment, Dreamscapes functions as a free to enter photo contest for photographers submitting a single work. Fees apply only when additional images are included.

How to Enter

Applications are submitted through the online entry form. Entrants provide their name, website or portfolio link when available, artwork title, and medium, then upload the chosen files. Additional images should be included within the same application rather than through separate entries.

Files must be submitted in JPG or PNG format, remain under 3MB, and measure at least 2,000 pixels on the longest side. Entrants should check their email after submitting for confirmation that the application has been received.

About the Jury

No individual juror names or biographies are published for this edition. Entries are reviewed by a panel using stated criteria that include craftsmanship, presentation, interpretation of the Dreamscapes theme, composition, creativity, and technical skill. The contest information also refers to creativity, technique, and overall visual impact as elements of the review.

Why Enter Dreamscapes by Ten Moir Gallery?

The structure provides several possible levels of recognition. A photographer may be selected for the curated online collection, named among the finalists, chosen as the photography runner-up, or awarded Best in Show. These outcomes can include a permanent listing, certificates, gallery features, social-media promotion, an interview, or an editorial spotlight.

The Dreamscapes by Ten Moir Gallery also gives photography a place within a wider visual-art selection rather than isolating it in a medium-specific exhibition. That context may suit artists whose images use narrative construction, symbolism, fantasy, or experimental digital techniques. International participation, online presentation, and links back to selected artists’ websites give the final collection a wider reach beyond a single results page.

Among Deartline’s best photo contests, Dreamscapes is distinguished by its focused imaginative theme, its free first upload, and the range of recognition available to winners, runners-up, finalists, and selected artists.

Entrants must be at least 18 years old, and submissions are accepted internationally. Photography is one of the eligible visual-art media. Artists must own the rights to every artwork and image included in their application.

One artwork may be uploaded free of charge until the final deadline. Artists submitting additional images must add them to the same application and pay the corresponding package fee.

Selected images may be shown on the gallery website as part of the curated collection and may also appear in newsletters and promotional channels. These uses are intended to present and promote the selected artist. The artist’s name and, when provided, a website or portfolio link may accompany the image.

Artists retain ownership and full rights to their work. Ten Moir Gallery states that it does not claim ownership of submitted artwork and does not sell or license the images entered in the competition.
