The World Nature Photography Awards 2025 (WNPA 2025) is an annual competition that brings together amateur and professional photographers from around the world. Founded in 2020, this prestigious contest aims to promote photography while contributing to environmental conservation by planting a tree for each entry received.
At the WNPA, participants can submit their work in a variety of categories, capturing different aspects of the natural world. In addition, the prizes offered are a source of inspiration for photographers and a reminder of our responsibility to protect the Earth.
The jury awards gold, silver and bronze titles in 14 categories and one photographer takes home the overall title of World Nature Photographer 2025 and prize money of $1,000.
The World Nature Photography Awards 2025 prizes
A gold, silver and bronze winner will be awarded in each category. The highest scoring gold photographer across all categories is awarded the title of World Nature Photographer of the Year and $1000 prize money. No alternative prize is available. World Nature Photography Awards 2025 does not hold itself responsible for any bank charges incurred by the prize recipient during the transfer of prize money.

The deadline to submit your photos to the World Nature Photography Awards 2025 is June 30 2024.
The entry fee for this photography competition is £30 per entry, allowing up to 6 images to be submitted.
