The Architecture MasterPrize is thrilled to announce the 4th Architecture Photography MasterPrize Award (APMP). This prestigious award recognizes and celebrates exceptional architectural photography of the built environment.
Architectural photography is a crucial medium used to capture and document the aesthetic and functional aspects of architects’ work. A well-crafted photograph helps the public understand the designer’s vision, showcasing the spatial elements, light, shadows, and surface textures of a building or architectural details.
Whether used for media or artistic purposes, architectural photography plays a significant role in society’s understanding and appreciation of architecture and its cultural significance. The Architecture Photography MasterPrize 2024 aims to celebrate the best in architectural photography across the globe.
The award recognizes outstanding images of exteriors, interiors, and other forms of architectural photography. Entries are judged by a diverse panel of industry professionals, designers, architects, curators, and academics, each bringing a wealth of experience and knowledge to the judging process.
Photographic projects can be submitted in several categories divided between outdoor and indoor photography.
The APMP is open to submissions worldwide. Any amateur or professional photographer aged 18+ may enter. Submissions are encouraged from individual professionals, studios, and photography students.
The Architecture Photography MasterPrize 2024 prizes
Winners of the Architectural Photographers of the Year will have their work showcased to a worldwide audience, receive the MasterPrize trophy, and enjoy extensive publicity throughout the year. Additional benefits include inclusion in the press campaign directed to hundreds of thousands of architecture professionals, press, and potential clients worldwide.
Submission deadlines and entry fees
The submission fees are $50 per category for professionals, and $25 for students.
Additional entries and entering multiple categories enjoy an extra 30% discount.
Early Entry deadline (-25% discount): February 29, 2024
Extended Early Entry deadline (-20% discount): April 30, 2024
Regular Deadline (-10% discount): June 30, 2024
Extended Deadline: July 31, 2024
