Alissa Hessler brings extensive experience in art direction, photography, and film production management to The Coastal Landscape jury. Jacob Hessler is renowned for his contemplative fine art landscapes exploring themes from rising seas to industrialized farming and the human impact on natural environments. A Brooks Institute of Photography and Parsons School of Design alumnus, he worked in New York’s commercial photography and art direction scene before returning to Maine to focus on gallery-based landscape work. His photographs are collected worldwide and he is represented by Dowling Walsh Gallery, Corey Daniels Gallery, and Soapbox Arts. Together, Alissa and Jacob also lead workshops at top institutions and unique destination retreats.
