Are you ready to claim the title of Travel Photographer of the Year 2025? This isn’t just another photo contest—it’s the most prestigious travel photography award in its 23rd year, offering massive international recognition, media coverage, and life-changing exposure. From 3 June to 13 October 2025, photographers worldwide can submit two portfolios of four images each across four thematic streams for a shot at the coveted Overall Winner title, backed by a £2,000 cash prize, a portfolio review from New York agent Frank Meo, and Radiant Photo imaging software.

Ranked among the top photography challenges to participate, TPOTY 2025 boasts an array of entry options: four-image portfolios in Adventures & Experiences, Culture, Heritage & Beliefs, Landscape, Weather & Climate, and Wildlife, Sealife & Birdlife; One Shot single-image categories; Rising Talent six-image portfolios; HD Video streams; and a free Young Travel Photographer award. Entry fees start at £12 for One Shot images, £25 for portfolios, and £15–£25 for videos, with bundle discounts and an early-bird TPOTY Pass available. This structure makes it accessible for everyone to showcase their best travel photographs.

Hosted entirely online and with total cash prizes of over £10,000, TPOTY 2025 delivers a transparent, merit-based process judged by industry leaders. Finalists’ high-resolution portfolios undergo rigorous selection in November and December, followed by a public vote for the People’s Choice and Travel Image of the Year awards. Winners earn spots in UK and international exhibitions, extensive media features, and sponsor-provided rewards—imaging software, expert reviews, and more. Whether you’re an emerging talent or a seasoned pro, TPOTY offers a unique platform to amplify your travel storytelling on a global stage.
