The IV Barcelona Human Rights International Photo Festival brings social justice into focus through powerful photos. Three major groups run this event: Más Retina, the Associació Catalana per la Pau (ACP), and International Action Peace (IAP). Any photographer, from beginners to pros, can join this quest to show key world issues. The best ten photo sets will be shown across Barcelona, and the top project wins €3,000. All entries must be submitted by October 31, 2024 at midnight.

This festival shines light on what matters most today: social and earth justice, fair treatment for all genders, climate issues, and the UN’s 17 goals for a better world by 2030. Photos should tell stories about these themes, looking at why we face problems like unfair treatment, people leaving their homes, and world conflicts.

To join, photographers must show 15 photos, with at least seven taken since January 1, 2023. Any adult can enter, no matter where they’re from. The festival wants to hear every voice speaking up about world issues through photos.

The IV Barcelona Human Rights International Photo Festival prizes

The IV Barcelona Human Rights International Photo Festival sets out to reward photos that move hearts and minds. The best project showing human rights and world justice wins €3,000. These displays do more than honor photographers – they help everyone learn about important world issues through the power of photos. The winning project also gets a spot in the festival’s official book, helping spread its message even further.
