Black & White Series of the Year 2024

The MonoVisions Photography Awards Black & White Series of the Year 2024 was awarded to Spanish photographer Lucas Garcete for his series titled “Hymns to the Night.” This digital collage series is a poetic exploration of a spiritual journey into the nocturnal dimension. Garcete’s work stands out for its evocative storytelling and masterful composition, capturing the essence of night through a series of haunting and beautiful images. For his outstanding work, Garcete received a $3,000 cash prize and became one of the two most outstanding photographers of these MonoVisions Photography Awards 2024.

The Jury of the MonoVisions Photography Awards 2024

The winners were selected by an esteemed panel of judges comprising prominent figures in the photography world. This year’s panel included Cyrille Druart, Vera Saldivar De Lira, Arkadiusz Kubisiak, Karla Guerrero, David Rathbone, Nenad Nikolic, D. J. Hinman, Monika K.
